- 2 cups fresh or frozen spinach*
- 2 cups fresh or frozen kale*
- 1/2 cup cilantro**
- 1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chopped
- 1 cup coconut water
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric or 1/2 inch knob fresh turmeric
- 1 inch knob fresh ginger or 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1/2 green apple
- 1/2 lime peeled
- 1/2 medium sized cucumber
*I like to use frozen spinach, kale, and pineapple in this recipe. If all ingredients used are fresh and not frozen, then add a bit of ice as well. I prefer not to use ice as I feel it has a better texture when some frozen ingredients are incorporated.
**Use parsley as an alternative to cilantro.
This recipe yields about 2.5 cups when prepared.
Optional add-ins, cashews, ground flax, green superfood powder, frozen mango.
Best when served chilled.
